Molecular Biology covers a wide scope of problems related to molecular and cell biology including structural and functional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, biomedicine, molecular enzymology, molecular virology and molecular immunology, theoretical bases of biotechnology, physics and physical chemistry of proteins and nucleic acids. At variance from the majority of other journals dealing with the same subjects, Molecular Biology exercises a multidisciplinary approach and presents the complete pattern of relevant basic research in Eastern Europe. The time of publication is about 6 months. Molecular Biology publishes reviews, mini-reviews, experimental and theoretical works and computational analyses in molecular and cell biology. Reviews and mini-reviews are devoted to problems of general interest. Short communications are also published expeditiously. The volume of manuscripts is not limited.
