High Temperature (Teplofizika vysokikh temperatur), founded in 1963, is one of the most prominent Russian physical engineering journals. The journal deals with problems concerning properties and processes in low-temperature plasmas; thermophysical properties of substances including pure materials, mixtures and alloys, properties in the critical point vicinity, equations of state, phase equilibrium; heat and mass transfer phenomena, in particular by forced and free convections, boiling and condensation processes, radiation and complex heat transfer; methods and instruments of experimental techniques, high-temperature installations and apparatuses for power engineering applications and so forth. The journal publishes studies by famous Russian scientists and international researchers, including those from the former Soviet Union, in high-temperature thermal physics. Original papers as well as reviews are published. It faithfully reflects the changes in the current trends in thermal physics. It always presents the results of contemporary experimental investigations; studies in the numerical simulation of complex thermal, gas-dynamic, and heat- and mass-transfer processes; and the latest achievements in the theoretical description of the properties of high-temperature media.
