Doklady Biological Sciences is a bimonthly journal containing English translations of current Russian research in the anatomy, cytology, ecology, embryology, endocrinology, evolutionary morphology, experimental morphology, genetic, histology, hydrobiology, immunology, microbiology, morphology, parasitology, physiology, virology, and zoology sections of the Doklady Akademii Nauk (Proceedings of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The Proceedings appear 36 times per year; articles from the selected biological sections are collected, translated, and published bimonthly.Doklady Biological Sciences publishes the most significant new research in the biological sciences being done in Russia today, thus ensuring its scientific priority.Since 2001, the journal Doklady Biological Sciences, the English translation of the journal Doklady Akademii Nauk has incorporated Doklady Botanical Sciences, which is no longer being published as a separate title.
