The Journal publishes novel experimental and theoretical works on physics and chemistry of membranes and cells. Among the basic topics of the Journal are membrane composition and structure, passive and active transport, bioenergetics and photobiology, reception and regulation, membrane aspects of cell biology, immunology and medicine. The Journal is multidisciplinary and publishes the papers based on different approaches: biophysical, biochemical, cytological, molecular biological, etc. Another feature of the Journal is a high content of theoretical studies.
