The journal publishes articles concerning the bodies of the Solar System, i.e., planets and their satellites, asteroids, comets, meteoric substances, and cosmic dust; the physics and dynamics of these bodies, their origin and evolution, and investigative methods are covered. Papers on physics of the Earth’s atmosphere, planet cosmochemistry, and issues of comparative planetology are also published. Scientific reviews in the fields of the journal appear regularly, as well as results of original investigations; notes on observational results; communications about the most interesting scientific meetings, colloquiums, and new works concerning studies of Solar System bodies; and articles in the Personalia section.
