Fluid Dynamics, a translation of Izvestiya Rossiiskoy Akademii Nauk. Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, is the leading Russian journal for the publication of theoretical, computational and applied research in the fields of aeromechanics, hydrodynamics, plasma dynamics, underground hydrodynamics, and biomechanics of continuous media. Special attention is given to new trends and trends developing on the border of the sciences such as: theory and application of multi-phase flows, chemically reactive flows, liquid and gas flows in electro-magnetic fields, new hydrodynamical principles in increasing of oil output, and new approaches in the description of turbulent flows, etc.
