This journal is a publication of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Sciences, which for many years was affiliated with the Latvian Academy of Sciences. In 1996 the Institute became an integral part of the University of Latvia and at the same time entered into cooperation with Westminster University to form an International Laboratory of Digital Alias-Free Signal Processing.
